BC Transit has engaged and is doing a study which will pursue the earlier studies by the MOT, by C4CR, and by Colledge Transportation Consulting. This is critical for the E&N passenger rail through South Island communities, to help in rush-hour congestion and, hopefully, prove to BC Transit that an alternative mode of transportation on a clear, dedicated corridor will work. The local BC Transit Commission is aware of this study within their service area.

Unless the BC government wakes up to the potential for this service BC Transit will get no where with it!
